Ticket Tailor vs Ticxz
Looking for a Ticket Tailor alternative? A fair comparison based on what both platforms publish, so you can decide which one fits your event.
Ticket Tailor is a well liked independent platform with a genuinely simple promise: a flat fee per ticket, no commission on your ticket price, and no contract. The question worth working through is which of its two pricing models you would land on, because they are a long way apart.

About Ticket Tailor
Ticket Tailor is a self-service ticketing platform operated by Zimma Ltd in London. It reports more than 73,000 event creators across over 120 countries, supports 96 currencies and a checkout in 14 languages, and is a certified B Corp. It is privately held by its founder with no outside shareholders.
There are two pricing models and the gap between them is large. Pay as you go is €0.70 per ticket. Buying credits upfront brings that down on a sliding scale, from €0.56 at 100 credits to €0.28 at 20,000, with custom quotes above that. Their headline claims "from €0.26", but their own calculator does not go below €0.28, so treat €0.26 as a claim rather than a rate you can hold them to. Credits never expire, but they are non-refundable.
The thing Ticket Tailor does well is get out of the way of your money. It never holds your ticket revenue: you connect your own Stripe, PayPal or Square account and get paid directly by the processor, with no waiting until after the event. Two details to plan around are that their fees are not refunded if you cancel an event, and that seated tickets consume two credits rather than one.
