About Ticketkantoor
Ticketkantoor is a Dutch self-service ticketing platform operated by tiqq B.V. in Apeldoorn. Organizers set up their own ticket shop, take payment, issue e-tickets and scan them at the door. Its users range from volunteer committees to festivals, theatres and attractions, with the Netherlands and Belgium as its main markets. It reports around 6,900 organizers and 5.2 million tickets issued.
The €0.80 genuinely is all-in for iDEAL and Bancontact sales, and there are no setup or monthly costs. Their own note is that if you can reclaim VAT the effective cost is roughly €0.66. Since the fee is meant to be built into your ticket price rather than added at checkout, it comes out of your margin rather than the buyer’s.
Two details to plan around. The fee is charged per issued ticket, and their terms are explicit that this includes tickets given away free, so a large guestlist is not free. Payout happens after the event has taken place and been closed off, rather than on a rolling schedule while you are still selling.
